The festivals you can still act on

Meta approval takes hours once your business is verified, so anything more than a week out is comfortably reachable. Each one opens on its own page with the four messages and when to send them.

The shape of the campaign

Four messages, and the order is the product

Every festival in the library ships the same four-message arc. Sent in sequence they answer four different reasons a customer has not bought yet.

  1. 7 to 10 days before

    Early access

Opens the festive collection to your best customers before anyone else.

Pulls demand forward into the week you can still ship comfortably, and tells you which SKUs to restock while a restock is still possible.

  2. 4 to 6 days before

    Gift guide

A shortlist for the customer who wants to buy but has not decided what.

Festive shopping is gifting, and gifting stalls on indecision rather than price. A curated set converts browsers a discount would only have subsidised.

  3. 1 to 3 days before

    Flash sale

The discount-led push, with a code and a deadline the festival sets for you.

By now the people left on your list are the ones price was holding back. The festival supplies a real deadline, so the urgency is not invented.

  4. On the day

    Day-of greeting

A wish, a thank-you, and one small thing inside for next time.

The cheapest send of the four and the one that keeps the list warm. A merchant who only ever asks for money trains their audience to type STOP.

By the calendar

Browse festivals by when they land

Grouped the way a merchant plans — the quarter the festival falls in, not the alphabet. Each card opens a page with the four templates, the demand window and what sells.

January — new year and harvest3

Three sends inside four weeks, into an audience that just spent through December. Lean on gifting and restocking rather than discount depth.

February to April — spring and the regional new years8

The second-biggest gifting run of the year, and the one most brands skip. Holi, Eid and four regional new years land inside seven weeks.

May to August — the quiet half, and Rakhi4

Thin on volume except for Raksha Bandhan, which is a gifting festival with a hard delivery deadline and almost no competition in the inbox.

September to November — the festive quarter9

Nine festivals in ten weeks and the bulk of the Indian D2C year. Plan the whole run before Ganesh Chaturthi, because there is no spare week inside it.

December — year end1

One festival, a long lead time and shoppers already in buying mode. The easiest campaign of the year to get right and the easiest to leave too late.

Yours, not ours

Customise and personalise it in the dashboard

These are drafts, not scripts. Every template is submitted to Meta from your own WhatsApp Business account, under your brand, with your offer in it.

What you change

  • Your store name and brand voiceEvery template carries a [Store Name] slot. Fill it once and the rest of the copy is yours to rewrite — the catalog copy is a starting draft, not a fixed script.
  • Your discount code and offer[Discount Code] is a blank, so the code, the depth and whether there is an offer at all are decisions you make per festival rather than ones the template makes for you.
  • The button and where it goesEach template ships with one call-to-action button. Change the label, point it at the collection you actually want to land on, or swap it for a quick-reply button.
  • Festive creative in the headerThe catalog ships without a media header, because that is the component Meta rejects most often. Add your own festive image or video on your submission when you want one.
  • LanguageThe catalog is in English. Submit a Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali or Gujarati version of the same template under your own account and send it to the segment it fits.
  • Who receives it, and whenBuild the audience from order history, city, past festival purchases or spend, then schedule each of the four messages against the festival date instead of sending them by hand.

From catalog to campaign

  1. Open the festive catalogAll one hundred templates are in your dashboard under the template library, grouped by festival with the same previews you see on this page.
  2. Edit and useOne click opens the template pre-filled — body, footer and button already in place — so you are editing a draft rather than writing from a blank form.
  3. Submit to MetaPush it to Meta for approval from inside the dashboard. Approval is usually hours rather than days once your business is verified.
  4. Schedule the sequenceSet the four sends against the festival date, pick the audience for each, and the campaign runs without anyone remembering to press send.

What a festive campaign costs

Meta charges per delivered message and every festive template is a marketing template. There is no cheaper category available for a message whose job is to sell, so the only real lever is how many people you send to.

How to plan a festival campaign

The same four mistakes cost most stores their festive quarter, and all four are decided before a single message goes out.

Do this

  • Submit the templates to Meta a week before you plan to send, so an approval queue is not the thing that decides your campaign
  • Send the four messages to narrowing audiences — everyone, then non-openers, then non-buyers — rather than the same list four times
  • Publish your delivery cut-off in the flash-sale message and hold to it, especially in the last week before Diwali
  • Keep the day-of greeting free of any offer, so the list is still there for the next festival

Not this

  • Blast all four messages to your whole list on consecutive days
  • Promise festive delivery inside the last three days, when courier networks are saturated
  • Spend your deepest discount at Dussehra, nineteen days before the week that actually matters
  • Send to customers who never opted in to marketing messages, whatever the occasion

Why four messages and not one

A single festive blast asks everyone on your list the same question on the same day, and the only people who answer are the ones who were already going to buy. The four-message shape works because each send is aimed at a different reason somebody has not bought yet: they did not know the collection was live, they did not know what to pick, the price was holding them back, or they were never going to buy and you would rather keep them subscribed.

That is also why the order matters more than the copy. Discounting first trains your best customers to wait for the code, and it spends margin on people who would have paid full price during early access. The discount belongs third, once the people it is for are the only ones left.

Questions teams ask

There is no single best one — the best marketing template is the one that matches where the customer already is. For a festival that means four: an early-access message for people who would buy at full price, a gift guide for the undecided, a discount for the price-sensitive, and an offer-free greeting that keeps the list subscribed. A single "best" template sent to everyone reaches only the people who were going to buy anyway.
